4-week series
Have you ever been to a yoga class and felt like you had no idea what you were doing? You had to keep looking around because when your teacher called a pose, you didn’t know what they were talking about? Or are you just intimidated to try yoga for fear of being embarrassed, because you’re not flexible enough, or fit enough? Or afraid you may lose your balance and fall during class? Don’t worry! You’re like most of us starting yoga! But luckily there’s a place for you! A place to fit in, to feel welcomed and supported, encouraged and to learn what you are supposed to be doing on your yoga mat. Join Jessica Coyne, founder of Yoga For Beginners Orlando for this four week beginner yoga series so that you can learn the foundations of yoga. You learn how to do all of the basic poses and you’ll learn all of the modifications and adjustments that you can do to make each pose accessible, effective and safe for your body. Jessica has been instructing this course to beginners for over 10 years and has taught thousands of beginners just like you how to actually do yoga. Register now! There are only 8 spots available so that we can keep social distance!
May 1, 9 AM - 12 PM
Come and experience a time to take a pause and build resilience. Angie will lead us through a time where we will settle our bodies through outdoor yoga, quiet our minds through breathing techniques, open our hearts and let go of burdens we carry through meditation and journaling, and listen to our souls through a reading process called Lectio Divina.
Cost: $30
All outdoors under shady pavilion at the Windermere Recreation Center.
Limited space to 10 participants.
